The Role: Video Editor
As a Video Editor at Frame VFX Studio, you will be the visionary who shapes the narrative architecture of our projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end editing process, ensuring that the story is tight, engaging, and emotionally resonant. Your role is central to our pipeline; you will work closely with our directors and creative leads to ensure that every cut serves the vision of the film, series, or commercial.
You will manage media assets, organize timelines, and implement feedback with precision, all while maintaining the high standards of quality our clients expect. We are looking for an editor who is as comfortable with deep, story-driven long-form content as they are with the punchy, fast-paced nature of modern commercial spots.
Key Skills and Technical Proficiency
To succeed in this role, you must possess a solid foundation in narrative construction and technical editing. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar industry-standard non-linear editing software). You should be comfortable navigating complex projects, managing massive media libraries, and optimizing your workflow for maximum efficiency.
Storytelling Sensibility: A natural gift for pacing, rhythm, and timing. You understand how to use cuts to drive a story forward and keep an audience captivated.
Technical Precision: Meticulous attention to detail regarding frame rates, color profiles, audio syncing, and export specifications.
Production Discipline: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight production deadlines without compromising the narrative polish of your work.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with directors, producers, and VFX artists to achieve the creative goals of the studio.
