From color grading and sound design to visual effects, subtitling, and analogue film processing, we craft compelling stories with meticulous care. Our VFX department is rapidly growing in both scale and ambition, and we are currently looking for a driven, talented VFX Supervisor to help lead the creative and technical vision of our work.

Your Role and Responsibilities as VFX Supervisor

  • Creative Leadership: Draft compelling visual effects treatments that elevate the narrative and align with director goals.
  • Production Management: Collaborate with the VFX producer to create realistic budgets, accurate bids, and structured schedules.
  • On-Set Supervision: Guide productions directly on set, utilizing your thorough familiarity with set etiquette to bridge the gap between production realities and digital magic.
  • Pipeline and Quality Control: Conduct regular shot reviews, provide clear and constructive feedback to artists, optimize workflows, and ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of industry curves by exploring emerging technologies, thinking outside the box, and maintaining calm under pressure.

From initial script breakdowns and conceptual design through bidding, post-production, and final delivery, you will guide projects seamlessly from start to finish.

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you bring a unique blend of technical mastery, artistic sensibility, and leadership qualities:

  • Experience: Proven track record as a VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, Compositing Supervisor, or Lead Artist on feature films or high-end television series. Previous on-set experience is mandatory.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of modern VFX workflows, including live-action plates, camera tracking, compositing, and computer graphics (CG).
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience managing budgets, bids, and schedules, paired with familiarity using production tracking tools like ShotGrid (or equivalent software).
  • Aesthetic Excellence: A brilliant eye for aesthetics, cinematography, and timing.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Exceptional time-management skills, natural resourcefulness, and outstanding interpersonal abilities. You must be able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to creative minds.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in or a strong working knowledge of French is a major advantage that will set you apart.

  • Competitive Compensation: A robust salary package complete with attractive extra-legal benefits.
