We are thrilled to be rebooting the beloved Fable franchise and are expanding our talented and diverse team to craft a new classic in the action RPG space.
The Role
We are seeking a Game Designer (Contract) to join our Fable team. In this role, you’ll collaborate across disciplines to design and implement core systems and features, leveraging visual scripting and proprietary tools to bring new content to life. As a champion of quality, you’ll ensure that gameplay elements meet the highest standards while staying aligned with the project’s vision.
This is a contract position based at our state-of-the-art studio in Royal Leamington Spa. We operate a hybrid work model, requiring at least three studio days per week. Relocation assistance is available for those who need it.

Key Responsibilities
- Use proprietary tools and visual scripting to design and implement features and content.
- Develop and maintain high-quality system and feature designs.
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver engaging gameplay experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience with visual scripting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for iteration and improvement.
- A collaborative mindset with respect for diverse perspectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A genuine enthusiasm for video games and game design.
- (Desired) Experience with text-based scripting in C++, C#, or similar languages.
