The Role: Technical Leadership at the Top Level
As a Technical Director at Electronic Arts, you will serve as the primary technical authority for The Sims franchise. You will spearhead architectural decisions that dictate how our titles are built, maintained, and delivered to a global audience. This strategic role requires a leader who can balance the immediate requirements of our live service operations with the long-term architectural vision necessary to support future innovation.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an industry veteran with a proven track record of shipping AAA titles at Electronic Arts or similar premier studios.
Professional Experience: 8+ years in software engineering, including at least 3+ years in a lead or director role on shipped AAA or cross-platform titles.
Technical Expertise: Mastery of C++ with deep experience managing and refactoring complex, large-scale codebases.
DevOps Proficiency: Strong familiarity with modern infrastructure, including Git, Perforce, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
Specialized Knowledge: Deep, demonstrable expertise in real-time simulation, content delivery, live services, or graphics and performance optimization.
Strategic Communication: The ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and inspire engineers across the studio.
