Candidate Requirements
Brown Bag Films looking for a technical powerhouse with a creative eye—someone who understands that the soul of an asset is just as important as its poly count.
Expertise & Knowledge
Pipeline Mastery: You possess an expert-level understanding of CG asset build pipelines, specifically regarding how assets transition from traditional software into Unreal Engine.
Real-Time Optimization: You know how to balance visual fidelity with real-time performance, ensuring assets run smoothly during animation and rendering phases.
Professional Experience
Leadership Track Record: You have previously held a Lead position (or equivalent) supervising assets for long-format animation, VFX, feature films, or AAA game development.
Project Experience: Extensive experience in CG asset creation and Unreal-based shot production is essential.
Team Management: Proven ability to lead a diverse team, manage technical tickets, and prioritize tasks under production deadlines.
Technical Toolkit
Unreal Engine Mastery: Advanced knowledge of real-time rendering, performance profiling, and pipeline integration.
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Houdini, and Photoshop.
Production Tools: Proficiency in Autodesk Shotgrid for project tracking and RV Media Player for real-time reviews.
