Your responsibilities will include: Owning, driving, and clearly communicating the vision for major game design initiatives. Leading the design process for new gameplay features, systems, and player experiences. Recruiting, mentoring, and training designers working on your initiatives. Collaborating closely with product managers, producers, engineers, artists, and other stakeholders. Designing and prototyping new gameplay mechanics and systems. Improving tools and workflows to make the design pipeline faster, smoother, and more efficient. Using player insights, data, and performance metrics to support design decisions. Promoting strong design standards and best practices across the studio. Identifying what makes games fun, engaging, and successful for different player audiences. Supporting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.   Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate should bring strong professional experience in game design, leadership, and systems thinking. Required qualifications include: 9+ years of professional experience as a game designer in the game development industry. Strong experience in system game design. Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of designers. Deep understanding of games and what makes them enjoyable, engaging, and successful. Strong knowledge of mobile, online, and live-service games. Ability to analyze existing games and clearly explain the strengths and weaknesses of their design. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively with product, engineering, art, and production teams. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
