ZDT Studio is seeking a passionate Senior Game Designer to join our team and help shape innovative gameplay experiences. You’ll work closely with the Game Director, technical teams, and designers to ensure that game mechanics are not only creatively compelling but also technically sound and player-focused. Your Role Reporting directly to the Game Director, you will: Document and implement innovative game mechanics. Lead and analyze internal playtests to refine the player experience. Collaborate with programmers and artists to ensure creative vision translates into polished gameplay. Ensure the fidelity of design execution in Unreal Engine. Plan and supervise playtest sessions, define objectives, and collect actionable feedback. Propose and defend design solutions aligned with the project vision. Key Responsibilities Design and formalize creative gameplay mechanics. Translate ideas into clear, actionable design documents. Work closely with programmers during the implementation process. Regularly test gameplay for consistency, balance, and playability. Analyze playtest data to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other designers to maintain design cohesion. Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone with: Minimum 8 years of experience in game design, preferably in senior or lead roles. Strong ability to translate creative vision into balanced, technically feasible features. Solid understanding of Unreal Engine and production pipelines. Strong analytical skills for playtest design and analysis. Passion for Cinematic Platformers. Pedagogical skills and collaborative spirit.
