About the Role Do you love bringing characters to life? At Snowprint Studios, animation is more than movement — it’s about emotion, clarity, and personality. As an Animator, you’ll craft expressive heroes, strange creatures, and dynamic props that feel great, look sharp, and enhance gameplay. You’ll work on Tacticus, our award-winning strategy game, collaborating closely with artists, designers, and developers to deliver animations that players around the world will love. What You’ll Do Animate characters, creatures, props, UI, and more — ensuring responsiveness and gameplay impact. Adjust 3D models as needed — rigging, skinning, and mesh adaptation to support animation. Work in Maya with strong FK/IK fundamentals, rigging, and animation workflows. Implement animations in Unity3D, using real-time and baked physics, cloth simulations, and dynamic forces. Collaborate with Art Directors and cross-discipline teams to problem-solve and refine the animation pipeline. Contribute creative and technical insights to storytelling, gameplay, and player experience. About You Several years of animation experience in games, balancing creativity with technical constraints. Strong fundamentals in timing, weight, and posing with proficiency in Maya. Solid understanding of game art pipelines and experience with Unity3D. Comfortable with mesh tweaks, rigging, and using real-time and baked physics (cloth, rigid, soft-body). Able to switch styles between cartoony and realistic as needed. Collaborative, communicative, and open to feedback. Passionate about games and driven by team-focused development.
