About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Medical Illustrator to create high-quality medical illustrations and animations for use across print, video, and interactive digital platforms. In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians and project teams to bring complex medical concepts to life through accurate, visually compelling content. Key Responsibilities Translate medical concepts and project requirements into final illustrations and animations. Collaborate with physicians and team members throughout iterative design processes. Develop creative solutions for visual materials used internally and externally. Build and maintain a digital library of medical illustrations and animations for reuse and archiving. Manage multiple design projects with competing priorities and deadlines. Support budget oversight for art and digital tools. Contribute to PSI’s design style guides and ensure consistency across deliverables. Research and apply emerging trends and best practices in medical illustration. Occasionally assist with non-medical design projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Illustration or Fine Art (preferred). Board certification in Medical Illustration (a plus). Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and major systems. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent digital design tools. Understanding of design best practices, including rights management, budgeting, and timelines. Experience in 2D and/or 3D animation (preferred but not required). Familiarity with scanning and digital photography (a plus). Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Full professional proficiency in English.
