Your Role as Animator As an Animator at Playtika, you’ll breathe life into characters, environments, and game experiences through polished, dynamic animation. You’ll collaborate with creative leads to deliver visually stunning assets that engage and delight players. What You’ll Do Create high-quality animations for characters, environments, UI, and FX assets in a variety of styles. Apply strong timing, posing, and storytelling skills to craft compelling animations. Animate game art within predefined art styles, ensuring visuals are engaging and fit the game’s purpose. Work closely with the Animation Lead/Art Lead/Director to identify and deliver required animated content. Iterate based on feedback, ensuring top-quality results with minimal supervision. Manage your time effectively, showing self-sufficiency and accountability. Develop creative solutions even when concepts aren’t fully defined. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience as a professional Animator in the gaming or film industry. Strong character animation skills and deep understanding of animation principles. High proficiency in After Effects (and Trapcode Particular), plus Photoshop and related tools. Technical competence and strong understanding of animation processes. Ability to independently generate ideas and animations for all aspects of a project. Portfolio required — please include a link when applying. Applications without a portfolio may not be considered. Nice to Have Experience with Spine 2D (or willingness to learn quickly). Familiarity with animation file prep for game engines. Experience with Unity or GDevelop.
