Generate accurate 3D camera tracks, object tracks, and proxy geometry for downstream departments. Integrate Lidar or photogrammetry data for accurate scale and alignment. Ensure consistency and precision across shots and sequences. Collaborate closely with layout, animation, and compositing teams for seamless workflows. Perform quality checks on tracking, lens distortion, and scene setup before delivery. 🧠 Qualifications & Skills Strong understanding of camera optics, perspective, and spatial relationships. Hands-on experience with 3DEqualizer, PFTrack, Maya, or similar tracking tools. Knowledge of lens distortion workflows and undistort/redistort processes. Familiarity with object tracking, body tracking, and set reconstruction. Ability to troubleshoot complex shots and deliver accurate results under deadlines. Compositing Artist (All Levels) | Contract | Remote / Hybrid Position OverviewPixelMotion Studios looking for talented Compositing Artists across all experience levels to join our creative team. You’ll be responsible for bringing together live-action footage, CG renders, matte paintings, and FX passes to produce polished, photorealistic final shots. This role demands both artistic precision and technical expertise to deliver visuals that blend seamlessly into the final frame. Key Responsibilities Assemble and integrate live-action, CG, and 2D elements into high-quality final composites. Perform precise color matching, keying, cleanup, and image integration. Collaborate closely with lighting, FX, and roto/paint teams to ensure consistent visual quality. Troubleshoot edge issues, matte inconsistencies, and artifacts for production-ready results. Implement feedback from supervisors while maintaining artistic and technical intent. Contribute to look development and help refine the visual tone and continuity of the project. Qualifications Solid understanding of compositing principles—layering, color correction, grading, and keying. Proficiency in Nuke, Fusion, or After Effects (industry-standard compositing tools). Ability to seamlessly match CG and live-action lighting, color, and grain. Familiarity with 3D compositing, deep passes, and AOV workflows.
