Passion, innovation, and storytelling — because teaching people to stay safe online doesn’t have to be boring. 🎨 About the Role As a Senior 2D Animator, you’ll be part of the Managed Security Awareness Training product team — the creative engine behind Huntress’ animated learning series. You’ll collaborate with writers, illustrators, and animators to produce short, story-driven videos that transform cybersecurity lessons into entertaining and memorable experiences. If you’re passionate about storytelling, character animation, and making complex topics easy to understand, this role is for you. 🧩 What You’ll Do Bring storyboards to life through animation using Adobe After Effects Work with the development team to create engaging, humorous, story-driven episodes Animate expressive characters that resonate with audiences Maintain stylistic and character animation consistency across episodes Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, and fellow artists Mentor junior animators and contribute to creative problem-solving Produce one full-length (approx. 9-minute) animated episode each month Stay current with animation trends and techniques to keep our storytelling fresh 🧠 What You Bring Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and character rigging Solid skills in Adobe Illustrator; basic knowledge of Premiere Pro is a plus Familiarity with DUIK plugin for rigging and animation Strong understanding of walk cycles, timing, and expressive facial animation Ability to work from storyboards and infuse humor into your animations A team spirit and enthusiasm for mentoring and collaboration 💰 Compensation & Benefits 💵 Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + bonus + equity🌎 Work Mode: 100% Remote (U.S. based)🕓 Flexible Time Off: Generous PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays👶 Parental Leave: 12 weeks fully paid🏥 Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans💼 Retirement: 401(k) with 5% employer contribution🎓 Growth: Annual education & professional development allowance🏡 Home Office: $500 setup reimbursement + $75/month digital stipend💬 Coaching: Access to the BetterUp personal & professional growth platform 💡 Our Culture At Huntress, we believe in inclusivity, collaboration, and authenticity.
