We are driven by ambition and excited by the future of visual storytelling. Overview Harbor is seeking a talented and highly motivated CG Generalist to join our Creative Advertising team. Reporting to the VFX Supervisor, 3D, the CG Generalist will be crucial in creating high-quality visual effects content for various projects. This role requires a broad range of technical skills and creativity and may involve end-to-end responsibilities, including: Key Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency and expertise across various stages of the 3D pipeline. Create assets and shots that consistently meet project requirements and high-quality artistic and technical standards. Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with the wider production team and all stakeholders. Develop and implement efficient 3D workflows to optimize production and project delivery. Actively participate in dailies, reviews, and client meetings, offering creative and technical input. Provide technical and creative solutions to address complex production challenges. Proactively undertake additional responsibilities as needed to ensure project success. Qualifications Technical Skills Core Competencies Skills across modeling, texturing, look development, rigging, animation, FX, and/or rendering. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Professional experience with Maya, Houdini, and Nuke. Team player with a dependable, flexible, and positive attitude. Experience with ZBrush, Adobe Suite, Substance Painter, Mari, USD/Solaris, and other industry-standard software. Takes direction well and exercises exceptional attention to detail. Proactive in learning proprietary tools and new techniques. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and work effectively under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to various artistic styles and project requirements.
