About the RoleBento Box Animation Studios is seeking exceptional 2D Character Designers to join our team on a 2D animated series. These are immediate hire positions, available for in-studio or remote work. This is a short-term project (no additional benefits at this time). The ideal candidate is deadline-driven, highly creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle fast turnarounds while working in a collaborative environment. Strong communication skills and a passion for cartoons are a must. 📍 On-site (Atlanta) or Remote | 🕒 Short-Term Project | 🚀 Immediate Hire Key Responsibilities Design Original Characters: Create sketches, inked & colored illustrations, style guides, expression sheets, and character turnarounds. Develop Design Variations: Generate multiple concepts per character while maintaining a cohesive vision. Character Turnarounds: Provide front, back, and side views for use by rigging and animation teams. Expression Sheets: Illustrate a wide range of facial expressions and emotions. Visual Storytelling: Convey background, personality, and story role through character design. Qualifications 2+ years of professional character design experience in 2D animation projects. Proficiency in Photoshop. Ability to work in-studio (Atlanta) or with a reliable remote setup. Strong organizational and file management skills. Online portfolio required (please provide access/password if necessary). Previous experience in broadcast animation and knowledge of a studio production pipeline is highly valued.
