Roto Artist – Freelance (As Needed)
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Skilled in Silhouette and Nuke for rotoscopy work
- Handle complex roto tasks: motion blur, defocus, hair/fur, 2D/3D tracking
- Perform edge-paint, VR, stereo, and keying
- Strong observation and quality-checking skills
- Ability to respond well to feedback and work in a team environment
- Knowledge of prep work is an added advantage
Requirements
- Experience in VFX Roto for international projects
- Creative, technical, and proactive approach to tasks
- Good communication and collaboration with leads and production teams
Comp Artist – Freelance (As Needed)
Location: Chennai | Pune | Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 2D tracking, keying, roto, and cleanup
- Composite live-action, CG elements, and matte paintings
- Collaborate with supervisors and directors to meet creative goals
- Ensure seamless integration of CG and live footage
- Troubleshoot compositing challenges and maintain quality
- Mentor junior artists when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in VFX compositing
- Strong proficiency in Nuke
- Excellent sense of color, light, and composition
- Organized, communicative, and able to take feedback positively
- Flexible to meet project deadlines
Prep Artist – Freelance (As Needed)
Location: Chennai | Pune
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality paint and cleanup work
- Create clean plates and assist with QC reviews
- Collaborate and mentor junior team members
- Manage shot updates and delivery timelines
- Troubleshoot technical issues during production
Requirements
Fine Arts background preferred but not mandatory
Expertise in Silhouette or Nuke
Knowledge of Roto and Tracking (2D & 3D) is a plus
Artistic mindset with creative problem-solving skills
Matchmove Artist – Freelance (As Needed)
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 3D camera and body tracking using Maya and 3DEqualizer
- Use Lidar/survey/photogrammetry for accurate matchmoves
- Understand lens distortion, parallax, and camera motion
- Reconstruct 3D geometry based on shot data
- Work with lens grids and dynamic distortion setups
Requirements
Analytical and detail-oriented approach
Strong technical foundation in 3D tracking principles
Proficiency in Maya and 3DEqualizer (Nuke a plus)
CG Artist – Freelance (As Needed)
Location: Chennai | Coimbatore | Pune | Hyderabad
